This healing salve is a powerful topical that may be used as an anti-inflammatory to ease aches and pains while also soothing skin irritations. Enjoy deep relief without the psychoactive effect of cannabis. We carefully blend the infusion with solid coconut oil and beeswax to offer a salve that works on many levels. Common uses include arthritis, psoriasis, eczema, burns, rashes, anti-wrinkle, scar prevention, skin cell regeneration, sun spots, tattoo healing and to ease menstrual cramps, insomnia, migraines, and headaches.
Cannabis topicals or salve will not make you feel “high” or intoxicated, typically. Although this is not necessarily a hard and fast rule! It is always best to wait at least an hour after application before driving to ascertain that you do not feel any intoxication if you are using cannabis topicals rich in THC.
BEFORE YOU APPLY a cannabis salve, we recommended that you first wash the area first. If there is no oil or dirt between the salve and your skin, it will absorb better.
TO APPLY gently massage it into the affected region. Allow the salve to absorb into your skin for a few minutes. Then, cover the treated area with bandages so the salve doesn’t rub off. If this is your first time applying a cannabis-infused topical, make sure to watch for any irritation, redness, or rash.
BE PATIENT: Depending on the condition, it can take anywhere from 1 to 48 hours to observe the desired effect. If you need, you can reapply your salve after a day or two.
INFUSING WITH ESSENTIAL OILS: If you are suffering from headaches or migraines, you can make an effective headache relief balm by adding a few drops each of lavender, peppermint, tea tree, and eucalyptus oil to your salve. Apply the salve to your temples and your neck.
For making a relaxing sleep balm, you can add chamomile tea and dried rose petals. This will make for a very soothing and calming cannabis salve. Massage onto your feet before bedtime and you will sleep like a baby!
If you want to make an extra-strong cannabis salve for treating joint and muscle pain, you can add a teaspoon of cayenne pepper to your mix. Please be careful, do not get it onto your face and into your eyes!
