Caramel Hard Toffee
Nothing is more homey than old fashion hard-toffee. One Bent Kitchen offers toffee-like you remember – it has the smooth creaminess you have grown to love, without all the calories!
Ha! Just kidding, there are a lot of calories – but it sure tastes good!
Each caramel pack is 100mg, so if you are unfamiliar with your dosing tolerances, it is a good idea to cut it into 4 pieces and start with a 1/4 piece first. Wait an hour to see how you feel – you can always eat more later!
Eat ’til your eyes itch!
CARAMEL HARD TOFFEE
Ingredients + Preparation:
1 cup Canna-butter
1 cup Canna-corn syrup
2 1/3 cups firmly packed brown sugar
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
pinch of salt
Line a 9X13 pan with parchment paper. Lightly grease (good place to use your canna-oil!) parchment paper.
Into a medium sauce pan, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Use candy thermometer and boil until 235F – 240F. Keep at this temperature for 2 mins then remove from heat.
Pour into prepared pan and set in room temperature until fully cooled. Cut into pieces and wrap in wax paper. If you wish to make the caramel harder (like MacIntosh Toffee) then store in freezer.
